A very popular ensemble choice for providing wedding music is a trumpet player (piccolo) and vocal soloist (soprano). The trumpet player can provide a fanfare to annouce the arrival of the bride, then provide a processional trumpet tune, such as Charpentier's 'Prelude' from Te Deum. The soprano can sing the first verse of the hymns and provide music during the signing of the register. Popular choices include, Handel's Let the Bright Seraphim and Eternal Source of Light Divine. The trumpet player then plays a rousing trumpet tune, such as Clarke's Trumpet Voluntary to accompany the exit of Husband and Wife. Book!
