Inner City Four Clarinet Quartet is a professional chamber ensemble based in Central London. All of them are successful musicians in their own right, with three of them holding principal positions in the finest military bands in the U.K. The group prides itself on its musical excellence and versatility, giving frequent recital performances at various music festivals and master classes around the globe.
Inner City Four offer musical Support with tailored performances for many formal and informal functions, such as Weddings, Cocktail Parties, Anniversaries, Receptions and Garden Parties. Due to the time they have spent serving with the various State Bands of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, all members of the group have gained vast experience from playing at some of the most prestigious and high profile functions around the world. They are regularly called upon to play for State Banquets and other functions for the Royal Households, and have performed in Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Holyrood Palace and in and around the Banqueting halls of Whitehall and the city of London. They have also toured extensively world wide performing for Royalty and World Leaders in countries such as USA, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Egypt, and Canada to name but a few.
Inner City Four are the perfect choice of ensemble for your event. Sometimes a string quartet can be too quiet amidst the chit chat of a party and a brass or Jazz group too loud to hear your guests talk! But with Clarinets the dynamic range is immense, enabling us to 'fit in' to any function. Also unlike other 'type set' ensembles, they can play any style of music that is requested from jazz to samba or classical to contemporary!
