Fixing a section or individual players can be tricky and often requires a lot of phone calls - let us manage it for you! We are in constant touch with our musicians and can fix a player quickly and you can be assured they are of a suitable standard. If you are 'fixing' a large ensemble or pit orchestra feature music will provide you with 1 point of contact, no need to contact each player individually - we will do that for you! Change of rehearsal time at the last minute? We will contact everyone involved so you can concentrate on the music! The London Productions Orchestra is a feature music exclusive ensemble and represents a large proportion of our 'fixing' bookings. Drawn from the London Productions Orchestra we can supply anything from single players to a full symphony orchestra.
We are able to work to budgets, but of course there are minimum rates that we work to. All of our musicians are highly trained professional people and should be paid accordingly. If you are unsure what to pay musicians contact us here.

How can I guarantee i'm booking a 'good' player?
feature music was established by two professional musicians specifically to provide great musicians with work (gigs) and fixers or clients with great musicians for there musical events. We can, of course provide a C.V. for all of our musicians if you request it.
Can I 'fix' more than one player?
Yes, of course! feature music can provide just 1 musician or 100 depending on the project and budget.
What if the musician booked goes sick?
If you had booked directly and the musician went sick you may be stuck. Booking through feature music provides you with options. In the unlikely event of sickness or unavoidable abscence we will do everything we can to supply a 'dep' for the event you have booked for using our database and network of contacts.
I'm unsure of what and how to pay a musician?
Contact us to discuss professional musician rates. All musicians booked through feature get paid by feature music. We pay our musicians on a gig-to-gig basis and they are responsible for their own NIC and TAX. All payments to feature music for 'fixed' musicians are due 7 days before the event so we can pay our musicians on time. If this a problem you will need to discuss it with us by calling 07719288321.
Do you just 'fix' orchestral musicians?
No. We have a large database of orchestral players but are also able to supply singers, brass band specialists, baroque or early music specialists and more! Contact us with special requirements.
Will my booking be contracted?
Yes. All of our bookings are comprehensively contracted. This ensures all parties know their responsibilities and ensures a much 'smoother' booking all round. Our terms of business and rules of engagement can be found here.
