What events can you supply musicians for?
Our aim is to provide musicians and ensembles for any event and budget.
Can I sample your musicians and bands before I book?
There are audio sound clips and some video clips on the site. In some cases (where possible) we have provided a complimentary ticket for an event so you can really sample the musician or group before you book! We regularly publish reviews, which can be found on our blog.
You can simply click here and complete the form with your details and event details. This prelimary stage requires no payment and simply reserves or 'pencils in' your event date and musician/ensemble choice. An agent will call you on receipt to confirm the details provided and advise on ensemble/musician availability. Your booking will then be confirmed and secured on receipt of the deposit, 20% of the total booking.
We specifically don't advertise fees and cost because each event is different. We do, in some cases, advertise prices from and price ranges, as a guide. Yes there are standard fees for each musician and ensembles but most events incur travel expenses, which of course affects the total cost. Often if more than one service is booked i.e. a wedding trumpeter and vocal soloist, there will be a discount. Your booking will incur an administration cost but this is included within our fees.Contact us with a preliminary enquiry and we will provide you with an accurate quote.
Every booking will require a deposit of 20% of the booking. Most of our ensembles require full payment no later than 7 days before the event. Failure to do so may result in your event date being re-booked to another client. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer, paypal or cash (in person). Some of our musicians and ensembles are so in demand, other deposit/payment plans need to be made. In these cases, it will be made clear at the time of booking.
Can I pay the balance on the day of the event?
No. If your booking is made less than 7 days before the event, full payment will be required at the time of booking. Unless you book on the day of the event (we have done this before) then yes you can!
What payment methods do you support?
feature music support bank transfer (details will be provided), cheque, cash (in person) and all major credit and debit cards via paypal business invoicing.P>
What if I need to cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking. Your deposit (20% of the booking) is non-refundable. If you give us enough notice then we will be able to return your booking balance. All cancellations must be in writing and in accordance with our contracts, terms and conditions. There are some exceptional circumstances, our full terms can be found here.
Do you manage specific artists or ensembles?
Yes, we manage many different ensembles, selected from the very best musicians available. The London Productions Orchestra is a feature music exclusive ensemble, meaning that the ensemble can only be booked through feature music. To provide our fixing service, feature music uses a robust database and network of musicians and ensembles. We are able to say 'we are never fully booked' by being able to book multiple ensembles for different events on the same day. We book extra (non-represented) ensembles on demand, should the need arise. We are able to offer the assuarance, with comprehensive contracts, that booking directly with an ensemble you might not have. If you require any further information please contact us here.
