Dolce String QuartetThe Dolce String Quartet are London and the
South East's newest and freshest string ensemble. Vibrant, youthful and
highly professional, members of the Quartet have over 20 years
experience of private functions and corporate events between them and
add something memorable, special and bespoke to any occasion.
Members of the Dolce String Quartet originate from the UK's finest conservatoires - Shuna, Joe and Allan met at Manchester's Royal Northern College of Music whilst David studied at London's Trinity College of Music - and the players have a long list of shared and solo musical experiences. Orchestral highlights include a BBC Proms performance at the Royal Albert Hall and concerts at the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Schleswig Holstein Musical Festival. The players have participated in Chamber Music Masterclasses with the Endellion and Chillingirian Quartets whilst solo highlights include the Bach Double Concerto at the Usher Hall and Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante with the Highland Chamber Orchestra. Members of the Quartet are also regular London session players. TV credits include "The X Factor", "Popstar to Operastar" and "The Royal Variety Performance". The Quartet are members of London's Docklands Sinfonia and recently participated in a large scale collaboration with Grammy winning artist Imogen Heap at the Royal Albert Hall. It is however the Quartet's approach to high end functions and corporate events that sets them apart. Service is bespoke and highly respectful to clients' needs. To this end, the Quartet are happy to have a briefing call pre event and to arrange music specifically for an engagement.
