C String Quartet
The C String Quartet is a very experienced and versatile quartet specialising in performing classical and light string quartet music for all occasions including weddings, corporate functions, formal dinners and private parties.
All of the players are freelance professional musicians and have extensive experience of providing music for many different functions. As well as having studied at the top music conservatoires, members of the C String Quartet have performed with larger ensembles and orchestras, and at numerous venues, both large and small.
The C String Quartet has an extensive repertoire with styles ranging from Classical to Comedy, from Romantic to Ragtime and from Baroque to the Beatles. You can leave the selection of music to us, or request classical favourites such as Pachelbel's Canon, Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Handel's Water Music and Ravel's Bolero; ragtime and light music of the 1920's, such as The Entertainer by Scott Joplin; and tunes used on television, including Nessun Dorma and the theme tune from Fawlty Towers. For any music that is not on our comprehensive list, we will endeavour to acquire arrangements for your special occasion.
